AAAW’s annual Summer BBQ is set for Saturday, August 31st! We reserved Carkeek Park’s Shelter House #1 along with several picnic tables (see map below). Adoptees and their families (child(ren)/partner) are welcome to attend! We are also collaborating with AIRERoots, so please welcome adoptees from another local Seattle adoptee community!
AAAW will provide hamburgers/hotdogs (meat/vegetarian), burger fixings, beverages, snacks, and desserts. If there isn’t a burn ban, we may setup a campfire to have s’mores to close the evening. Attendees are welcome to bring a dessert or side to share, but this is optional. We look forward to seeing you there!
