AAAW’s Holiday Party

Get ready to kick-off the holiday season with your AAAW friends and community! AAAW will be providing non-alcoholic refreshments, small bites/charcuterie items, and snacks. Attendees are welcome to bring a favorite alcoholic beverage or snack to share, but please know this is optional. Once you RSVP, AAAW will email you a link to a sign-up sheet in case you’d like to share what beverage/snack you’ll bring. This will also help attendees keep track of what is being brought so there aren’t any duplicates (although it’s OK if this happens).

This event will be hosted by a AAAW community member, so we are keeping their address private. If you plan to attend, please RSVP and AAAW will send an email to you with the address and any additional details/reminders as the event date gets closer (if you don’t see our email, please check your spam folder). Here are several other things to take note:

• This event is for adoptees and their partner (18+), we are not allowing children because alcoholic beverages will be present; for attendees between 18-20, although you are a legal adult, you are not permitted to consume alcohol;
• Attendees are welcome to dress as fancy and/or festive (ugly sweater anyone?) as you like (casual attire is fine too);
• At 8:30PM, there will be some announcements to share and a group photo taken (if you don’t want to be in the photo, it is OK if you step away);
• With the start of the winter season, we want to exercise caution regarding illness, so if you are feeling sick, please refrain from attending; attendees are free to wear a mask if they wish but it is not required and there’ll be extras by the entrance should you decide to wear one; and lastly,
• Should there be any exposure to COVID-19/RSV, AAAW will use the registration list through our website to notify everyone
