Let’s check out this event at the Seattle Chinese Garden! Afterwards, we can grab dinner at Honey Court in the Chinatown/International District! This event is from 1PM to 4PM and dinner will be at 5PM. Allison will be the point of contact for this group outing. Please register so we know who to lookout for at the festival and indicate in your RSVP if you’ll be joining for dinner to help with reservations. Here are several things to be aware of:
- SCG’s website and FB page doesn’t have much info regarding this event, so hopefully they are still planning things but we’ll keep an eye out should SCG remove this event;
- The venue’s parking lot has limited spaces (not sure if you can park in the South Seattle College parking lot on weekends), but it looks like parking is plentiful along 16th Ave SW (as seen on Google Maps – AAAW is not responsible for parking);
- Please make sure to bring cash or have Venmo/PayPal available if checks at Honey Court cannot be separated; and lastly,
- There is a Chuseok Festival at the Asia Pacific Cultural Center occurring on the same date and nearly the same time as this event, so AAAW is planning a group outing and dinner for this
