With summer and warmer weather approaching, let’s get some Boba Tea! Meet us at Luu’s Café near Green Lake. AAAW will purchase only beverages (doesn’t have to be boba tea) for adoptees only. If your partner/family is joining, feel free to purchase their choices separately. Once you get your beverage, we can hang out, relax, and connect near Green Lake Park. So, feel free to also bring your own blanket and/or foldable chairs. Please RSVP so we know who to expect and read and be aware of the following details below:
- There are two locations called Luu’s Cafe, make sure you go to the one located closest to Green Lake;
- There will be a 30-minute window (2:00PM-2:30PM) where AAAW will purchase drinks for adoptees, but if you arrive late you are responsible for your own drink; and lastly,
- Since this event is on a Sunday, you shouldn’t have to worry about parking fees BUT parking will likely still be difficult; first screenshot below shows a parking lot (green circle) but that will probably be full, so look for parking North or South of Luu’s Cafe, or along East Green Lake Way N/East Green Lake Dr. N
- Note: the blue square is the general area where we’ll look to hang out, so you don’t have to worry about going too far into Green Lake Park to find us
- If you wish to continue hanging out after the end time, you may do so, but understand the organizers may leave then
