Believe it or not, the next IKAA Gathering in Seoul is less than a year away! As part of the 2010 Gathering, there will be a 2nd International Research Symposium on Korean Adoption Studies (the 1st was part of the 2007 Gathering in Seoul) on Tuesday, August 3, 2010.

to be presented at the symposium; these papers will also be published in the symposium proceedings. Brief proposals are DUE on SEPTEMBER 15th! Please read the attachment carefully, and be sure to include all of the requirements:

1. Completed cover sheet (see the Call for Papers link above)
2. CV
3. Paper proposal (NOT the actual paper itself – those are due on 1/1/2010) of no more than 500 words.

Everyone is encouraged to apply, although preference will be given to those who have already completed or are enrolled in terminal master’s or PhD programs. Additional information can be found at this link:
